---- — HAMPTON, N.H. (AP) — New Hampshire Police say a pickup crashed into a concrete barrier at the Hampton Toll Plaza, hitting the roof of the toll booth and coming to rest wedged between the barrier and a tractor trailer truck yesterday morning.
The Hampton Fire Department stabilized the Ford Ranger pickup before the driver was removed from the vehicle and taken the hospital with minor injuries.
Fosters Daily Democrat reports that the driver, 43-year-old Christopher Desjardins of Wells, Maine, suffered minor injuries.
Police say the driver of the tractor trailer who had stopped to pay a toll was not injured. Police say the toll booth attendant also was unharmed.
