Annual Reggie Golf Tournament Aug. 2

The Greater Lawrence Technical School Athletics Department and Local 1707 are hosting their annual golf fundraiser Aug. 2 at the Golf Club in Methuen with proceeds benefiting students. Each year, two scholarships are awarded to graduating seniors, with the rest of the funds spent to send promising athletes to sports camp.

Teams of up to four are welcome to register before July 15th for only $125 per golfer.

Each team package includes greens fees, a golf cart rental, coffee and pastries upon arrival, a sit-down steak dinner following the tournament, a golfer’s gift and the scramble format.

Teams can even win first, second and third place, as well as individual men’s and women’s longest drives. Silent auction and raffle prizes will be available and will include such big ticket items as a flat screen TV, gift cards and baskets from local businesses, golf packages and more.

The 20th Annual Reggie Athletics & Local 1707 Scholarship Golf Tournament has attracted close to 100 golfers each year but GLTS Athletic Director, Christa Gillis, hopes to see some new faces this time.

If you can’t make the tournament but would like to help, hole sponsors for $100 and silent auction donors are still needed.

Platinum and Gold sponsorship opportunities offer team savings and also include a hole sponsorship.

For more information, contact Christa Gillis at cgillis@glts.net or by calling 978-686-0194, X7057.
