---- — SALEM — Three men face multiple drug and weapons charges after they were arrested in Manchester and Salem Tuesday.
Two men — Carlos Rodriguez, 45, and Geraldo Serrano, 50, both of Manchester — were arrested early Tuesday in two separate Manchester apartments.
The third, Julio E. Geraldo, 36, of Lawrence, was arrested Tuesday afternoon at the Mall at Rockingham Park in Salem.
The Manchester Police SWAT executed a search warrant at two Manchester addresses. The action was part of an investigation by Manchester police Special Investigation Unit, according to police.
Rodriguez was arrested at 26 Payson St. on warrants for three counts of sale of a controlled drug, heroin.
Police found a .380 handgun that had been stolen in Hooksett in January, 32.1 grams of heroin, 463 Oxycodone pills and more than $40,000 in cash.
Rodriguez also was charged with being a felon on possession of a firearm, receiving stolen property and two counts of possession of a controlled drug with intent to distribute, according to Manchester police.
Police also executed a search warrant at 402 Auburn St., where they arrested Serrano on warrants for three counts of sale of a controlled drug. Police found another 0.8 grams of heroin and more than $400 cash in the apartment. Serrano also was charged with felony drug possession.
As a result of those two arrests, there followed a joint investigation with N.H. State Police and Salem police. That investigation led to Geraldo’s arrest at 1 p.m. inside Sears at the Mall at Rockingham Park.
Geraldo was found with 50 grams of heroin, according to Salem Deputy police Chief Shawn Patten. He was charged with two felonies, possession of a controlled drug with intent to distribute and conspiracy. He refused the services of a bail commissioner.
He was arraigned yesterday morning and is being held on $15,000 cash bail, pending a source of funds hearing.
