---- — PLAISTOW — It’s Kids Night Out Saturday at Timberlane Regional High School, hosted by the Student Council.

For $20, participants can enjoy sports, arts and crafts, board games, a movie corner and much more. Snacks and a pizza dinner will be provided.

There will be adult chaperones as well as Student Council members. The cost is $20 per student, $15 for each additional child from the same family.

SALEM — The Salem Historical Society will host “An Evening of Ella Fitzgerald” with Nanette Perrotte Tuesday at 7 p.m.

Perrotte tells Ella Fitzgerald’s extraordinary story through song and conversation.

Donations sought for benefit yard sale

KINGSTON — Donations of “gently used” items are needed for the Kingston Fire Department Auxiliary’s yard sale, set for April 20 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Donations can be dropped off at 10 Page St., starting April 15, or call 642-7218 for pick-up.

Proceeds from the sale will benefit firefighters and victims of structure fires in Kingston.

Professional pet photos offered Saturday

SANDOWN — Have your pet’s photo taken professionally Saturday and support community projects at the same time.

The Sandown Lions Club is hosting the event with photographer Kathy Radford Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon at the fire station.

The photo event will be held at the same time as the rabies clinic.

Proceeds will benefit the Lions Club’s community projects.

Get pets vaccinated on Saturday

PLAISTOW — The Plaistow Firemen’s Association will host a rabies clinic Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the public safety complex, 27 Elm St.

Pistol shooting class is for women only

NEWTON — Country Pond Fish and Game Club is offering a “Ladies Only Basic Pistol Shooting Course” on Saturday, April 13. The course will run from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the club, 82 Pond St. The class is limited to 10 women, over the age of 18.

The cost is $100 for club members, $125 for nonmembers.

Sandown library shows ‘Lincoln’ on Monday

SANDOWN —See “Lincoln,” an Oscar award-winning film about the last four months of President Abraham Lincoln’s life. Sandown Public Library will show the film twice on Monday, at 1 and 5 p.m.

Snacks will be provided at the 1 p.m. showing and Bruchetti’s Pizzeria will provide slices at the second showing.
