Race to benefit Danville Meeting House
DANVILLE — Danville will hold a 4-mile road race and fitness walk on Saturday, Aug. 23. Runners will pass by Long Pond.
The race begins and ends at Town Hall. Registration begins at 8 a.m. and is $20 if preregistered, $25 the day of the race. A free fun run for kids will follow at 10:15 a.m. Visit running4free.com and search Danville to register. Call Sharon Skinner at (978) 273-1016.
All proceeds from the race will go to the painting and preservation of Danville’s Old Meeting House on Main Street, the oldest original construction meeting house still standing in New Hampshire.
