WINDHAM — Windham firefighters were busy yesterday morning, honing their extrication skills on an old school bus.
Assistant Chief Ed Morgan led the training exercise behind the fire station of Fellows Road.
The old school bus, donated by Woody’s Auto Repair and Towing in Pelham, was used for extrication training.
Morgan said the training is important to the department. It gives firefighters the chance to work with different vehicles and learn how best to get into them and get people out.
