Atkinson: The parade will start at Town Hall on Academy Avenue at 10:30 a.m on Monday. The parade goes to Dow Common on Main Street. After the parade, there will be a ceremony on the common by the soldier’s monument. Following the ceremony, residents are invited to the fire station, where the Atkinson Fire Department will hold its annual cookout.
Danville: The parade, hosted by American Legion Post 115, begins at 10 a.m. Saturday at Danville Elementary School. The parade will travel along Main Street to the veterans memorial, where there will be a brief ceremony. Parade participants should be at the school no later than 9:30 a.m.
Derry: Derry begins its Memorial Day schedule Monday with early services at area cemeteries and veteran post homes. A parade steps off at Hood Commons on Crystal Avenue at 11 a.m. Immediately following the parade, traditional services are held at MacGregor Park with guest speakers and wreath-laying ceremonies at the park’s veterans monuments.
Hampstead: Services will begin at 11 a.m. on Monday at the bandstand at Meetinghouse Park on Main Street. If it is raining, services will be held at Hampstead Veterans Memorial Gym.
Kingston: The parade starts at 1 p.m. Monday in front of Town Hall. The parade will proceed up Church Street and continue to Greenwood Cemetery on North Road for a ceremony. An open house will be held at the Kingston Veterans Club after the observance.
Londonderry: The town hosts a Memorial Day parade Monday beginning at Londonderry High School at 10 a.m. The parade marches down Mammoth Road with traditional ceremonies to follow at the Town Common.
Newton: The Memorial Day parade begins at 11 a.m. Monday at Memorial Elementary School and continues along West Main Street to the cemetery on Whittier Street for the ceremony. Parade participants should line up at 10:30 a.m.
