Pelham: There will be a wreath-laying ceremony at 9 a.m. Monday in Veterans Memorial Park, Mammoth Road. Parade musters at 10:15 a.m. at the Village Green. There will be a ceremony in Gibson Cemetery on Marsh Road and also in the town center. A community barbecue will be hosted by the American Legion at the pavilion.
Plaistow: The parade will start at 10 a.m. Monday at Pollard School on 120 Main St. The town will also have a ceremony honoring Korean War veterans on the 60th anniversary of the war’s end.
Salem: The parade, hosted by the Salem Veterans Association, begins at 10 a.m. Monday at Pine Grove Cemetery at 329 Main St. The procession continues to Veterans Memorial Park for a ceremony.
Sandown: The parade begins at noon Monday at the Sandown Depot and proceeds south along Main Street to the war monument on the Town Hall lawn, where children are encouraged to place tokens of appreciation. The parade then continues to Center Cemetery for a ceremony. Parade participants should line up at the depot at 11:30 a.m.
Windham: The parade steps off at 9:30 a.m. Monday from Center School, Lowell Road, to the Wilbur E. Tarbell Memorial in the Cemetery on the Plains, Cobbett’s Pond Road. Parade marshal is Jack Leonard, Windham’s oldest World War II veteran. A ceremony will be in the cemetery. The Windham High orchestra will perform patriotic songs beginning at 9 a.m. in the cemetery.
