DERRY — St. Mark’s Lodge 44 starts its holiday tree sales Saturday at 58 E. Broadway. Christmas wreaths will be available for sale to benefit the Rockingham Chapter 3 Order of Eastern Star.
The sale of farm-grown Vermont and New Hampshire Christmas trees has been a tradition at the Masonic Temple for more than 25 years. The sale allows St. Mark’s to make donations to several local charities each year.
Fresh-cut trees will be available for a donation of $30 and up. Sizes range from table-top trees to those to fit a great room with a cathedral ceiling.

LAWRENCE — The TD Charitable Foundation, the charitable giving arm of TD Bank, recently awarded a grant of $5,000 to Central Catholic High School as part of the bank’s commitment to the local community.
In its 78 years, Central Catholic has offered a first-rate college preparatory education to more than 14,000 students and alumni from the towns and cities of the Merrimack Valley. The funds from the TD Charitable Foundation will support tuition assistance to students from low and middle income families.
“We are happy to support Central Catholic in their efforts to enable young students the opportunity for a good education,” said Dan Griggs, Market President, TD Bank. We believe the chance to enrich the lives of young people through education is both a privilege and a responsibility, and ultimately a benefit to our communities.”
“Central Catholic is both proud and grateful to have TD Charitable Foundation and TD Bank partner with Central Catholic in ensuring that the neediest students in the local community have the opportunity to attend and succeed at CCHS,” said David DeFillippo, CCHS Director of Community Relations.
