Comedy on tap at Timberlane PAC tonight

PLAISTOW — Comedy is on tap at 7 p.m. today in the Timberlane Performing Arts Center.

Students from the Timberlane Comedy Club and Las Vegas headliner Greg Murphy will perform.

Tickets are $5. Proceeds will benefit PTSA programs.

Danville residents, clean up this weekend

DANVILLE — It’s time to clean up Danville this weekend.

Meet Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon in the Town Hall parking lot to get trash bags and start cleaning.

Filled bags can be left on the roadside for pickup Monday by the highway department.

Fill up on spaghetti and meatballs

EAST HAMPSTEAD — Head to E. Hampstead Union Church Saturday between 5 and 6:30 p.m. for a spaghetti dinner.

The menu includes spaghetti and meatballs, salad, rolls, dessert and beverages.

The cost is $7 for adults, $3 for children under 12 and free for preschoolers.

Take-out meals are available.

Proceeds will benefit the church’s operating fund.

School becomes museum tonight

NEWTON — Sanborn Middle School halls will be transformed into a museum of arts and science today from 6 to 8 p.m.

Students and teachers collaborated to present the special event. Students will take on roles of American artists.

Example of those artists’ work and student reproductions of them will be on display.

A science annex will be open with examples of how science influenced art of the periods.
