Beausoleil indicted in Salem Wal-Mart incident

---- — BRENTWOOD, N.H. — A Haverhill man has been indicted for allegedly exposing himself to a young girl at Wal-Mart in Salem.

Ronald Beausoleil, 34, was indicted last month in connection with a similar incident at Wal-Mart in Plaistow.

Beausoleil faces a charge of indecent exposure or lewdness in the incident on Sept, 19, 2011, in Salem. He approached an 8-year-old girl in the store and began touching her shirt. He later exposed himself to the girl, police said.

In the Plaistow incident, Beausoleil approached a 9-year-old girl in the toy aisle and touched her in a sexual manner, police said.

Beausoleil was indicted on two counts of aggravated felonious sexual assault, two counts of felonious sexual assault and a single count of accomplice to theft in the incident in Plaistow on March 10.

Beausoleil faces three and half to seven years in prison on the indecent exposure charge and on each of the four sexual assault charges. The theft charge is a violation. He remains incarcerated at the county jail on $50,000 cash bail.

Beausoleil has a lengthy criminal record that includes a conviction for felonious sexual assault in Massachusetts in 1999.
