LONDONDERRY — The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announces night work associated with the construction of four new Exit 5 Interstate 93 bridges in Londonderry.
Paving and line striping operations will take place at night, Sunday through Tuesday, weather permitting.
This work will require a lane closure and N.H. State Police rolling road blocks on I-93 southbound and northbound. Lane closures will take place during the non-commuter hours, from approximately 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Minor traffic delays can be expected.
Restaurant owner wins ‘Rewrapped’
HAMPSTEAD — Sean Hopkins, owner of Lobster Q in Hampstead Village Station on Route 111, made a strong showing in the premiere episode of Food Network’s “Rewrapped.”
In the episode Monday, Hopkins faced two challengers in creating Goldfish snack crackers from scratch and then using them in an original dish.
His original dish paired Goldfish with a lobster dish, which included scallops, shrimp and crab, he said.
Hopkins beat out his competition and won a year’s supply of Goldfish.
Library hosts spring break Game Day
HAMPSTEAD — For spring break fun, head to Hampstead Public Library on Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. for Game Day.
Families are invited to drop in and play board games, card games, Legos, Wii games and more. Play with your family. Play with your friends. No advanced sign-up is necessary.
Games and snacks will be provided.
‘Monster Mash’ launches midweek fun
ATKINSON — Join in on the fun at Kimball Library on Wednesday, April 30, for a spring time ‘Monster Mash.’
Midweek fun begins on the final April of the month with a spooky good time celebrated through music games, and the creation of monsters for grades K-5. Registration is required.
Thursday, May 1 will feature an opportunity for kids to show their creative side. Register early to ensure the event will have ample supplies, and then drop in anytime between 10:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. to make a very simple May basket.
