Plaistow library offers groups, programs for all ages

---- — PLAISTOW — Plaistow Public Library News offers Baby Lap-sit for ages newborn to 2 on Tuesday at 10 a.m. Toddler Time is Friday at 10 a.m.

The Friends of the Library will be hosting their annual Book Sale on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Proceeds benefit the Friends of the Library, which in turn benefits Plaistow Public Library.

There are two new book groups. The “Defending Jacob” by William Landay book group will meet to discuss the book on May 14 at 10:30 a.m. The “Evil Agreement” by Richard Hatin book group will meet May 21 at 6:30 p.m. with a visit from the author to discuss the book. Copies of these books are available for checkout beforehand. Monthly Book Chat will be May 28 from 10:30 a.m. to noon. Bring a favorite book or a recent read to share.

Card Making with Colleen Ferrante is back on May 15 from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Participants will make eight cards, two of each design. The materials fee is $15. Bring scissors and adhesive. This is for adults only. The demonstration starts promptly at 6:30 p.m.

There is an ongoing book sale in the library. The selection is always changing, so come down to check it out. Proceeds benefit the library.
