DANVILLE — The Police and Recreation Departments are sponsoring Movie Night this summer.
Free movies will be shown at Day Field on Main Street.
The next show will be “Jurassic Park” (PG-13) tomorrow night. The movie starts at dusk. Other shows are: “Rise of the Guardians” (PG), July 27; “Odd Life of Timothy Green” (PG), Aug. 10; “The Sandlot” (PG), Aug. 24; and “Zoo Keeper” or “Grease” (both PG), Sept. 7.

Advisory off at one beach, on at another
SALEM — The state Department of Environmental Services yesterday removed a fecal bacteria advisory for Arlington Pond Improvement Association Beach.
But the fecal bacteria advisory remains at the Hedgehog Pond beach.
The water there will be resampled Monday, with the next test results available Tuesday.
Atkinson seeks new Elder Affairs Director
ATKINSON— The Board of Selectmen is seeking a volunteer to provide leadership for the Town’s Elder Affairs Department.
This volunteer position will require a commitment of 12 to 15 hours per week.

Get ready for Lakes Race, Summerfest
St. Anne Church is holding its 21st annual Lakes Race on Saturday, July 27. This is a five-mile race on a certified course. The race begins at the church on 26 Emerson Ave.
Check-in and same-day registration begins at 7:30 a.m. July 27; both the race and the 5K Fun-Walk will begin at 9 a.m. Trophies will be presented to the top three runners from each age and gender division. There will also be refreshments after the race.
