NHSP charge man in license fraud case

The Eagle-Tribune

---- — CONCORD — A Lawrence man is being held on $20,000 cash bail for “multiple counts” of tampering with public records and unsworn falsification.

Williams Jose Aparico-Rosales, 23, was arrested yesterday at the Department of Motor Vehicles in Concord and is scheduled to be arraigned today in 6th Circuit Court in Concord.

But New Hampshire State Police had very little to say about the case yesterday.

Aparico-Rosales was arrested by Trooper Richard Dupont, but a dispatcher said the trooper “wasn’t authorized” to discuss the case.

Police from Troop G discovered Aparico-Rosales entered the country illegally and was trying to get a New Hampshire driver’s license using another person’s identity, according to a NHSP press release.

Members of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and the Department of Motor Vehicles assisted state police.
