Sanborn faces off against Bruins alumni

---- — KINGSTON — The Sanborn Indians will take on the Boston Bruins alumni team at the Rinks at Exeter on Oct. 24.

The benefit game begins at 4 p.m., with proceeds going to the new Sanborn Regional High School ice hockey program.

The Indians include Sanborn players as well as parents and friends. There will be raffles and Bruins memorabilia for sale. Autographs will be available.

Tickets are $10 and free for anyone under 4. They can be purchased in advance at the Rinks at Exeter or at Sanborn. The players will be selling tickets as well. Any tickets not sold before game day will be available for purchase at the door.

Candidates night set in Windham

WINDHAM – The Woman's Club hosts a candidates night in the state representative race Oct 27.

The candidates forum begins at 7 p.m. at Town Hall. The moderator is James Pindell of WMUR.

Windham concert aids military personnel

WINDHAM — A concert will be held Saturday, Nov. 3, at Windham High School to raise money for mental health services for veterans and their families.

The concert, "Perfectly Frank," begins at 7:30 p.m. and features swing, jazz and Frank Sinatra music performed by the Boston Big Band and vocalist Steve Marvin.

Tickets are $20 for adults and $12 for children and students with a current identification. Admission is free for veterans and military

personnel in uniform. Tickets may be purchased online at www.nepastoral.org or at the door.

The concert is sponsored by the New England Pastoral Institute, a nonprofit mental health agency in Salem, to thank military personnel for their service.

Fitness program offered in Pelham

PELHAM — A senior fitness program will be held at the Senior Center starting Oct. 25.
