SANDOWN — Town Conservation Commission member Mark Traeger will speak Monday about New Hampshire’s natural beauty.
Traeger’s presentation, organized by the Sandown Garden Club, begins at 7 p.m.
During “The Nature of New Hampshire: Natural Communities of the Granite State,” Traeger will show photographs taken by Natural Heritage Bureau ecologists and photographers.
There will be light refreshments and a door prize.

Fall storytime starts in Hampstead
HAMPSTEAD— Fall storytime at Hampstead Public Library for children ages 3 to 5 will begin next week and continue through December.
Sessions are on Mondays at 10 a.m. and Thursdays at 1:30 p.m.
The activity includes reading books, singing songs and doing a craft.
No advance sign-up is necessary.
Therapy dog sessions available
HAMPSTEAD — Johnny Claude the Listener Dog returns to Hampstead Public Library on Monday from 4 to 5:30 p.m.
Johnny Claude is a certified therapy dog who listens to kids read, tell stories or act out a book.
A 15-minute session with Johnny Claude is available, by signing up at the library’s front desk or calling the library at 329-6411. Adults are also welcome to visit with Johnny Claude.
