‘Les Mis’ coming to Timberlane stage
PLAISTOW — Timberlane Regional High School presents “Les Miserables” May 9-11 at the Timberlane Performing Arts Center, 40 Greenough Road.
“Les Miserables” tells the epic story of the struggles of people who must contend with oppression, injustice, unrequited love and misfortune.

Donations needed for Baby Shower Project
WINDHAM — The Woman’s Club is conducting the annual Baby Shower Project through May 14.
People are asked to bring new baby and toddler clothing, diapers, books and other baby items to drop boxes at Nesmith Library, 8 Fellows Road, and Windham High, 64 London Bridge Road.
The campaign supports the Our Place program that aids pregnant teenagers in Southern New Hampshire.
Young actors take stage in Pelham
PELHAM — Pelham Parks and Recreation’s young theater program will perform “A Time to Go Home” on Friday and Saturday, May 10 and May 11, at Sherburne Hall.

Fill the garden at annual plant sale
HAMPSTEAD — The Hampstead Garden Club is bringing back its plant sale this year with a brand new twist.
The “Down and Dirty Plant Sale” is focused on bringing the public healthy, locally grown perennials at good prices.
Every plant is $4.
There will be at least 1200 plants to choose from, which will include more than 100 varieties of perennials, herbs and bulbs.
The plant sale will be held on the Town Hall Green at 11 Main St., from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, May 11. At 11:45 a.m., if there any remaining plants, they will be sold at half price.
