---- — HAMPSTEAD — Johnny Claude the Listener Dog returns to Hampstead Public Library on Monday from 4 to 5:30 p.m.
He is a certified therapy dog who loves to listen to kids read, tell stories or act out a book. This program is terrific for reluctant readers of any age.
Set up a 15-minute session with Johnny Claude, by signing up at the library’s front desk or calling the library at 329-6411. Adults are also welcome to visit with Johnny Claude. Hampstead Public Library is located at 9 Mary E. Clark Drive.
Folklorist presents free program Saturday
ATKINSON — Folklorist Jo Radner will present “Braving the Middle Ground: Stories of Pre-Revolutionary Northern New England” at Kimball Library Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
The Molly Reid Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the library are cosponsoring this Humanities Council program. The library is at 5 Academy Ave.

Try yoga at thebeach Saturday
WINDHAM — Saturday morning yoga returns to the town beach this week, weather permitting.
The class is at 8 a.m. with yoga instructor Amy Spencer.
The cost for the 90-minute class is $18.
