Teens, celebrate 'Catching Fire' tonight

HAMPSTEAD — Middle and high school students can go to Hampstead Public Library at 6:30 p.m. today to attend a “Catching Fire” movie release party.

Everyone who volunteers as a “tribute” is eligible to win two free movie passes.

Tributes will participate in various training stations — knot-tying, cake decorating, archery.

Answer questions about the book and earn gifts. Dress as your favorite character if you wish.

Kingston church offers Thanksgiving meal

KINGSTON — Make a reservation by Friday for First Congregational Church’s 26th annual Senior Thanksgiving Dinner at 6 Church St.

Arrive anytime after noon; dinner will be served at 1 p.m.

Children can wear pajamas and bring along a pillow, blanket and stuffed animal.
