Shaheen staffers in Pelham Thursday

PELHAM — U.S. Sen. Jeanne Shaheen’s staff will hold office hours Thursday from noon to 1 p.m. at Town Hall, 6 Village Green.

The senator’s staff will speak with residents seeking help with federal agencies.

Check out this ‘Unsleepover’ party

PELHAM — The Badgers, the oldest kids in the summer library program, will have an “unsleepover” party for those 7-years-old and up tomorrow from 7 to 10 p.m.

There will be food, Frisbee bingo and penny golf, plus bedtime reading before pickup at 10 p.m.

Call 635-7581 to sign up. The library is collecting $5 per child for pizza.

Windham Chiropractic open for business

WINDHAM — Windham Chiropractic and Massage Theraphy recently opened at 60 Rockingham Road.

The business is owned by Dr. Barry St. Onge Jr. and Monica Doble.

Participating in the grand opening were The Greater Derry Londonderry Chamber of Commerce and the Windham Economic Development Committee.

Office hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday.

Job skills program extended

The WorkReadyNH program, which provides Granite State residents with skill building and job readiness certification through the Community College System of New Hampshire, recently received a two-year extension from the governor and Executive Council.

Created in 2011, the program aims to provide workers with strong basic workplace skills.

Blood donors needed in Newton

NEWTON — The town will host a blood drive Saturday at Town Hall.

The blood drive is from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Town Hall is at 2 Town Hall Road.
