Music-n-Play Classes begin on April 8

PELHAM — Music-n-Play Classes begin in April at First Congregational Church, 3 Main St.

Classes will be from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m.

On Tuesdays, starting April 8, “123 Count with Me” will introduce math to preschoolers through stories, crafts and hands-on activities.

On Thursdays, starting April 10, students will explore music and movement concepts.

The cost is $75 per child.

Rubens to speak in Pelham Monday

PELHAM — U.S. Senate candidate Jim Rubens will speak Monday before the meeting of the Republican Town Committee, scheduled for 7 p.m. at the VFW Hall, 6 Main St.

State Sen. Chuck Morse, R-Salem, also is scheduled to provide an update on New Hampshire legislative issues.

Constitutional convention dangers

WINDHAM — Hal Shurtleff, New England coordinator of The John Birch Society, will discuss the dangers of a federal Constitutional convention, during a forum Monday at 7 p.m. at Nesmith Library, 8 Fellows Road.

Pilates classes start in Windham

WINDHAM — Pilates classes start Monday in Windham.

Classes will be at 5:30 and 6:30 p.m. Mondays at Town Hall. The cost is $75.
