PLAISTOW — A 19-year-old woman was arrested after she allegedly stabbed her sister in the shoulder with a kitchen knife.
Police received a 911 call at 12:20 p.m. on Monday from an Autumn Circle home and found Andrea Lane, 25, standing outside the house with a shoulder injury, according to Deputy Chief Kathleen Jones.
Lane told officers she was stabbed by her sister, Chelsea Archambault, after the two argued, Jones said.
Police are still investigating what led to the stabbing, Jones said.
Police found a kitchen knife in the home and arrested Archambault, Jones said.
Lane refused medical treatment, the deputy chief said.
Archambault has been charged with second-degree assault and reckless conduct. She was arraigned yesterday in Plaistow District Court and released on $5,000 personal recognizance bail.
Archambault is scheduled to appear in court for a probable cause hearing Jan. 25.
