DERRY — The intersection of Old Chester Road, Cross Road and Beaver Lake Road is closed while police investigate a two-car collision that occurred this afternoon.
Police have put up crime scene tape around the intersection and the Derry Police Crime Scene Unit van is on scene.
The collision occurred around 1:30 p.m. between a Honda sports utility vehicle wagon and pickup truck.
The names of the drivers involved in the accident were not immediately available. One victim was transported by medical helicopter from Parkland Medical Center.
An accident reconstruction team is en route to the scene.
