DERRY — A Derry woman has not been charged after her car struck a pedestrian near MaryAnn’s Diner Monday.
Police said Angela Cooper, 25, was turning onto Wall Street from East Broadway when her vehicle struck David Mulcahey, 55.
Mulcahey was crossing on Wall Street, carrying a young child and accompanied by a second, was taken to the hospital for minor injuries, according to police Capt. Vern Thomas.
The accident was called in at 9:38 a.m. Monday.
Police stop underage drinking party
HAMPSTEAD — An underage party at 160 Mill Shore Drive Friday night was broken up by police.
A neighbor called police just before 9:30 p.m., Lt. John Frazier said.
Fourteen people between the ages of 18 and 20 were taken into protective custody, he said, and their parents were called to pick them up.
The home is in foreclosure, he said, and the owner was notified.
No charges were filed.
