SANDOWN — The Sandown Conservation Commission will lead a vernal pool workshop at the Fremont Road Town Forest tomorrow from 3 5 p.m.
This workshop is great for children and adults. If you like to hunt for salamanders, frogs and their egg masses, and your curious how these amphibians get their start in life, this is your opportunity.
Dress appropriately for the weather and for a walk in the woods. Meet at the picnic tables located in the town forest parking lot, off Fremont Road.

Recycle electonics, support Scouts
KINGSTON — Pack 90 Cub Scouts will host an Electronics/Appliance Recycling Drive Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon at the Kingston VFW on Route 125. This fundraiser will help the pack with upcoming activities.
There is a $15 recycling fee for each small household appliance (dehumidifier, air conditioner, mini refrigerator and/or microwave). There is a $10 fee for each TV, monitor, computer or printer. A $2 fee applies for small items, such as keyboard, phone, radios, fax.

Save fair space for Kingston Days Crafts
KINGSTON — There is still space available at the annual Kingston Days Craft Fair, which will be held this year on Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 3 and 4, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The craft spaces will be approximately 10 by 12 feet. The registration fee is $30 for one day, $45 for both days.
This year , there will be a section for farmers market space, at the same rate as crafters.

SANDOWN — The Sandown Conservation Commission is hosting the annual fishing derby at Sal’s Pond off Main Street Saturday.
Registration will be held from 7 to 7:30 a.m. The fishing derby will run from 7:30 to 10 a.m.
