Plaistow selectman won't seek re-election

PLAISTOW — Selectmen’s Chairman Robert Gray announced at a meeting Monday he would not be seeking re-election at Town Meeting in March.

Gray has served nine years as a selectman. He has also served on the Planning Board, Budget Committee and has served as town moderator.

Hampstead checklist supervisors meet

HAMPSTEAD — The Supervisors of the Checklist will meet at Hampstead Town Hall on Tuesday between 7 and 7:30 p.m.

Supervisors will register new voters and update the checklist.

Residents must show a photo ID.

Shaheen staffers available this week

Staffers for U.S. Sen. Jeanne Shaheen are holding office hours in Salem, Pelham and Windham.

They are scheduled for 11 a.m. to noon today at Ingram Senior Center, 1 Sally Sweet Way in Salem; 11 a.m. to noon tomorrow at Nesmith Library, 8 Fellows Road in Windham and tomorrow from 1 to 2 p.m., Town Hall, 6 Village Green in Pelham.

Student art on display at Plaistow library

PLAISTOW — Visit Plaistow Public Library this month to see the artwork of the students of local artist Susan Kneeland.

The work represents artists age 9 to adult who are from many surrounding towns.

The pieces include portraits, still life and landscapes.

Plaistow library is located at 85 Main St.

Parents, financial planning help offered

HAMPSTEAD — Hampstead Special Education Community Network will host Owen McGarrahan and George Tzimas Tuesday.

The two will present a free workshop, “Financial Planning for Families of Children with Special Needs.” The presentation will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the Hampstead Middle School Library.

The workshop will be preceded by a meeting of the Hampstead Special Education Community Network at 7 p.m. for those who are interested.

Photography classes start soon in Pelham
