WINDHAM — Two men were arrested late Wednesday in connection with an armed robbery Sunday at Klemm’s Mobil at 124 Indian Rock Road.
Scot Jalbert, 26, of Hampstead and Robert Costello , 23, of Manchester were arrested by Windham police at about 11 p.m. Wednesday.
Jalbert allegedly entering the convenience store Sunday and threatening two clerks with a gun before leaving the store with about $250 in cash, police said.
He has a lengthy criminal record and had several outstanding warrants at the time of his arrest, police said.
He’s charged with one count of armed robbery with a firearm, two counts of criminal threatening and one count of a felon in possession of firearm
Jalbert was arraigned yesterday in 10th Circuit Court in Salem and is being held on $100,000 cash bail.
Police said Costello drove Jalbert to Klemm’s, then picked him up across the street after the robbery. He, too, has a criminal record, including sexual assault, police said.
He’s charged with one count of conspiracy to commit robbery. Costello was arraigned yesterday in 10th Circuit Court in Salem and is being held on $25,000 cash bail.
