Police search for missing UNH student from Chester

CHESTER, N.H. (AP) — Police are searching for a missing University of New Hampshire student.

Police say 19-year-old Elizabeth J. Marriott, of Chester, who is a commuter student at UNH, has been missing since Tuesday night.

The last known communication from Marriott was a text message she sent to a friend while in class at UNH in Durham shortly before 9 p.m. on Tuesday.

Police say Marriott’s phone hasn’t been used since.

Fosters Daily Democrat reports that Marriott was driving a 2001 tan Mazda Tribute with a New Hampshire license plate 3045397. She’s described as being five-foot-five, about 130 pounds with blond hair and blue eyes.

The UNH Police Department is helping police in Chester and Westborough, Mass., in the search.
