SALEM — The Greater Salem Chamber of Commerce has announced the winners of the Fifth Annual Hidden Jewel Awards.
The Hidden Jewel Awards is a program developed through the Greater Salem Chamber of Commerce, in conjunction with Salem Co-operative Bank, to honor the area’s most priceless women.
These awards are intended to recognize and celebrate the accomplishments of women who have excelled in their chosen field or vocation, defined their role through their initiative and dedication, while establishing a record of leadership and involvement.
The winners are: Mother of Pearl Award: Annamarie Nicosia; Diamond in the Rough Award: Autumn Faucher and Abigail Lehner; Sapphire Award: Kelly Bryant; Emerald Award: Melanie Nesheim; Ruby Award: Diane Hatem; Pink Diamond Award: Susan Covey.
The awards will be presented at a gala luncheon on Oct. 17 at Merrimack Valley Golf Club and Event Center in Methuen.
The guest speaker will be Meg Cadoux Hirshberg, author of "For Better or for Work: A Survival Guide for Entrepreneurs and Their Families." She is the wife of Gary Hirshberg, chairman and former president and CEO of Stonyfield Farms in Londonderry.
