Help needed in Sears theft

---- — SALEM — The Salem Police Department is investigating the theft of jewelry at about 12:30 p.m. May 27 from the Sears store at the Mall at Rockingham Park.

The item stolen was a sterling silver crystal necklace valued at $180. The suspect is a woman wearing a bandana and black top.

Anyone who can identify the female suspect is asked to report it to Crimeline of Southern New Hampshire.

Calls will be completely anonymous and callers will be issued a secret Crimeline number, known only to them and Crimeline. The Crimeline phone lines do not have caller ID.

If a tip results in a conviction, the caller will be awarded a $1,000 cash reward at a location of their choosing. Callers will not have to interface with the police or testify. However, if a tipster chooses to testify, the reward increases to $2,000.
