For $5, early shoppers are invited to shop from 8 to 9 a.m. From noon to 2 p.m., fill a bag of paperbacks and children’s for $1 or a bag of hard-cover books for $2.
Vendors needed for fall craft fair
PLAISTOW — Vendors are needed for a craft fair Saturday, Sept. 7, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Wal-Mart parking lot.
The cost is $20 per space. All money from space rentals will benefit Children’s Hospital at dartmouth.

EAST HAMPSTEAD — An indoor/outdoor yard sale will be held rain or shine on Thursday-Saturday, Aug. 15-17, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day at East Hampstead Union Church, 225 E. Main St.
Items for sale include glassware, linens, decorations, toys, puzzles, records, VHS tapes, DVDs, baskets, televisions, microwave, electronics, furniture, exercise equipment and more.
