SALEM — Get a jump on the 2013 hunting and fishing seasons by attending the Rockingham Fishing & Hunting Expo Saturday and Sunday at Rockingham Park.
Staff at the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department booth will be selling the new 2013 hunting and fishing licenses. Stop by the booth and get your 2013 Freshwater and Saltwater Fishing digests, hot off the press.
While you’re enjoying the Expo, support Fish and Game’s Barry Conservation Camp by having the kids participate in several fun activities at the show, just the thing to help young outdoor enthusiasts shake off the winter blues.
Splat some paint balls at the paintball range; catch the big one in the trout pond; try the latest air soft guns; split an arrow at the archery range; or hunt the big buck in the laser shot shooting simulator.
The Rockingham Expo has generously agreed to donate half the proceeds of these youth activities at the show to Barry Camp.
At the Fish and Game booth, be sure to pick up the 2013 Barry Conservation Camp brochure.
Barry Camp is Fish and Game’s overnight summer camp for youth in Milan, operated in partnership with UNH Cooperative Extension 4-H.
Specialty weeks that will be offered next summer at Barry Camp include Hunter Education, a fantastic week of fishing, and several other fun-filled weeks of shooting sports, archery, canoe trips, learning survival skills and much more.
