New Hampshire in a Minute: Try Middle Eastern dance tomorrow

---- — KINGSTON — A free Middle Eastern dance class will be offered tomorrow at Kingston Community Library.

The class, for teens and adults, is from 10:30 a.m. to noon.

The instructor will be Nancy Griffin, director of Paradise in the Palms Dance Studio of Kingston.

Free show tickets available to seniors

NEWTON — The Recreation Committee has free tickets for seniors 60 and older to see “The Great American Trailer Park Musical” in Manchester on Jan. 26.

The show will be at the Palace Theatre. To reserve tickets, call 382-4405, Ext. 13, and leave your name, phone number and the number of tickets needed.

The deadline to order tickets is Jan. 20. A pickup time will be arranged by phone.

Local Girl Scouts are now taking orders for Girl Scout cookies, to be delivered in mid-February. There are eight varieties which sell for $4 a box; all of the proceeds support local Girl Scouts and programs.

Girl Scout Cookies are kosher and there are zero grams of trans fat per serving. Girl Scouting is celebrating its 100th anniversary with the lemony Savannah Smiles cookie.

This annual program is the leading financial literacy program for girls in the U.S., teaching them essential skills Girls can earn money to pay their way to Girl Scout camp and other opportunities.

PELHAM — The Lady Outlaws, the lacrosse program for girls ages 8 to 14, starts March 5.

The cost is $125 per player.
