Fitness boot camp starts Monday
WINDHAM — The Extreme Fitness Boot Camp, sponsored by Windham Recreation, starts Monday at Center School.
Sessions are from 6:30 to 7:30 a.m., Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, for four weeks.

Luncheon in East Hampstead
EAST HAMPSTEAD — A Public Soup and Sandwich Luncheon will be held on Wednesday from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at East Hampstead Union Church, 225 E. Main Street, Route 121A, just south of Route 111.
Offerings include a variety of soups and sandwiches, chips, pickles, assorted beverages and desserts.
The suggested donation of $6 per person supports the Operating Fund. The site is chair-lift accessible. Take-out meals are available.

Learn how to protect kids online
KINGSTON — Be Web Smart Workshop, sponsored by the Sanborn Regional High School PTO, will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 13, at 6 p.m. in the library at Sanborn Regional High School.
This workshop is designed for parents of various age groups — elementary, tweens, teens — to learn what steps to take to protect themselves and their children online. If there is a computer at home or if you and your kids use gadgets such as an iPod touch, iPhone or iPad and even cell phones, then this course will help you become Web Smart.
Join Jean Dumais of bewebsmart.com as she demonstrates safe searching in Google, Yahoo, and Bing; restriction settings on devices such as iPod touch, iPad, iPhones; and parental control options for computers and devices.

Plaistow Recreation plans trips
PLAISTOW — Plaistow Recreation is planning three trips in March.
On March 1, it’s a trip to “Divas through the Decades,” a tribute show to the most popular female vocalists.
Tickets are $30 for residents, $35 for nonresidents. The bus will be leaving at 4:30 p.m. from the park-and-ride lot on Westville Road.
Dinner will be on your own at Margarita’s in Manchester. The registration deadline is Feb. 15.
Head to the Portland Flower Show March 7. The bus will be stopping at the Village Candle warehouse sale on the way home. Lunch will be at Silly’s Restaurant in Portland.
The bus will be leaving the park-and-ride lot on Westville Road at 8:30 a.m. and returning to Plaistow at approximately 5:45 p.m. Register by Feb. 22.
Tickets for residents will be $12, $17 for nonresidents.
On March 13, meet at Chunky’s in Haverhill for the movie “Rebel Without A Cause.”
Admission will be free, but you must order lunch from their menu. Lunch will be on your own.
