HUDSON — A Derry woman faces a second DUI charge after allegedly backing her Mercedes into another car at an intersection in Hudson Saturday.
Lynn Ann Gendreau, 47, was driving a 2009 Mercedes Benz south on Derry Street near the intersection with West Road, police said. Gendreau stopped abruptly at a red light, then backed her car into a 2002 Nissan Altima that was behind her, according to police.
Police first received a 911 call just past 1 p.m. Saturday about an erratic driver, but the caller then reported the driver had struck another vehicle.
The Nissan was driven by Mark Taylor, 26, of Nashua. Neither he nor his passenger, Michelle Harris, 23, of Nashua, were injured and the damage to the cars was minor, police said.
Police determined Gendreau was impaired. She was attended to at the scene by the Hudson Fire Department. She declined further medical treatment.
Gendreau was taken to the Hudson police station for booking. She was charged with DUI, second offense. She was released on $1,500 personal recognizance and is scheduled to appear in 9th Circuit Court in Nashua on Aug. 25.
