Three people were charged after police found them allegedly using drugs in a pickup truck in a parking lot between Home Depot and AC Moore on South Broadway at 1 p.m. Friday, Patten said.
A caller reported suspicious activity there. A man was seen taking something from the bed of the pickup, then removing “something white” from under the hood, Patten said.

All three were released on $5,000 personal recognizance.
A few hours later, at 4:50 p.m., detectives noticed two people acting suspiciously in a vehicle at the rest area off Interstate 93 north, Patten said.
Two Manchester men were arrested, then released on $5,000 personal recognizance.
