Learn about pre-revolutionary New England
PLAISTOW — “Braving the Middle Ground: Stories of Pre-Revolutionary Northern New England” is the theme of Dr. Jo Radner’s presentation Sept. 10 at the meeting of THS-REA, the Timberlane-Hampstead-Sanborn Retired Educators Association.
The presentation begins at 1 p.m. at First Baptist Church, 120 Main St., Plaistow. This presentation is open to the public and donations are welcome.
Radner will trace the initial landings on the New England coast through settlements in the Merrimack Valley and the collision with Native Americans already calling this area home. She takes on the identity of a number of the early settlers in her presentation.
Members of local historical societies, DAR and community organizations are especially invited to attend this presentation.
