Danville crash victim was town resident

DANVILLE — New Hampshire State Police yesterday identified the victim of a fatal accident Saturday evening on Main Street in Danville.

Gregory Costa, 46, of Danville succumbed to injuries sustained when his car slammed in a parked car just past 7:30 Saturday night, police said. Police originally identified the victim as a Hampton resident.

Costa was driving a 1994 Pontiac Sunbird east when he crossed into the breakdown lane and struck a 2009 Kia Sportage parked there.

Costa was taken to Parkland Medical Center in Derry, but died.

The accident remains under investigation by the New Hampshire State Police, Troop A and State Police Technical Accident Reconstruction Unit. Anyone with information related to this crash is asked to call Trooper First Class John Hennessey at (603) 223-8490 or email at John.Hennessey@dos.nh.gov.
