SALEM — Paving is planned overnight tonight on Interstate 93 south near the Exit 2 interchange, according to the New Hampshire Department of Transportation.
Weather permitting, work will start at about 7 p.m. and end at 5 a.m. tomorrow.
Construction operations will require traffic on I-93 southbound to be reduced to one lane. Motorists should remain alert while traveling through the construction zone and obey all posted signs.
The paving is part of the $41 million I-93 widening and reconstruction project in the vicinity of Exit 2. The general contractor is George R. Cairns & Sons Inc. of Windham.
