SALEM — Salem Family Resources-Success By 6 will conduct a Babysitter Training for students age 12 and older on Tuesday, Dec. 3, and Tuesday, Dec. 10, from 2:30 to 5 p.m. at Woodbury Middle School, 206 Main St. Students must attend both sessions to complete the course.
The comprehensive course covers responsibilities, safety, child development and age-appropriate activities for potential baby sitters.
Fun, hands-on activities and practice sessions help prepare students to be safe, successful and sought-after baby sitters. The cost for the training is $20.
“Salem Family Resources has been conducting this training for many years and continually updates the information and activities.” says Cindy Jury, executive director of Salem Family Resources. “We emphasize safety for both the children and the baby sitter.”
Parents can register their students for this class on the events page at salemfamilyresources.org or by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org or 898-5493.
