PELHAM — Two Derry residents were arrested Thursday as part of an ongoing drug investigation.
Pelham police detectives and patrol units descended on Muldoon Park at 2:30 Thursday afternoon.
Raymond Gerrior, 40, and Jennifer Doherty, 31, both of Derry, were arrested shortly after what was believed to be a drug transaction in the park, according to Lt. Gary Fisher.
Gerrior faces a felony charge of selling drugs and Doherty faces a felony charge of conspiring to sell drugs.
Both were released on $5,000 personal recognizance. They are scheduled to be arraigned in Salem District Court on Sept. 27.
Fisher said police recovered approximately 35 tablets of Tramadol, a prescription pain medication commonly abused by drug addicts. Cash from the alleged transaction also was seized.
