HAVERHILL — A 22-year-old man died this morning after being stabbed in the neck on Webster Street last night, according to police.
At 10:05 last night, police were called to the area of 22 Webster St. for a report of a disturbance in the street. When they arrived, they found Randall Rawson, of Haverhill, suffering from a stab wound and being assisted by individuals in the area, Deputy Chief Donald Thompson said.
Rawson was taken to Lawrence General Hospital, and later transferred to Beth Israel Hospital in Boston. He was pronounced dead around 6:30 this morning, Thompson said.
The case is being investigated by Haverhill detectives and members of the detective unit assigned to the Essex County District Attorney's office.
