NORTH ANDOVER — Another restaurant has opened its doors in the Eagle Wood plaza on Route 114.
Thyme Japanese Cuisine recently began serving lunch and dinner at 97 Turnpike St. As the name implies, the restaurant offers a variety of Japanese dishes, including sushi, sashimi, seaweed salad, teriyaki, tempura and much more.
The Board of Selectmen presented a certificate of appreciation to the new business Monday night. Kathleen Kelley, a local real estate agent who accepted the certificate on behalf of Thyme Japanese Cuisine, said the owners had originally planned to attend the meeting but had to stay at the restaurant because they were having a busy night.
The restaurant is open seven days a week. Lunch is served Monday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Dinner hours are Monday through Thursday, 3:30 to 10 p.m.; Friday and Saturday, 3:30 to 11 p.m.; and Sunday, noon to 9:30 p.m.
