A Londonderry teen was injured in this crash yesterday morning in Hudson.

HUDSON — A 16-year-old Londonderry resident was injured yesterday morning after her car collided with another on Route 111 near Lawrence Road, according to Hudson police.

The teenager, whom police did not name, was driving a 2002 Kia Spectra. Police said it appeared the teen was entering Route 111 from Lawrence Road and failed to yield to a 2011 Infinity, driven by Todd Thamer of Windham.

Police did not release Thamer's age; he was not injured in the crash.

The Infinity struck the Kia's driver side door. The two cars were pinned together in the center turn lane and the female driver was trapped in her car. Police and fire personnel responded to the scene at about 7 a.m. Firefighters were able to extricate the girl from her Kia. She was taken to Southern New Hampshire Medical Center with unknown injuries, police said.

There was minimal traffic impact as Route 111 was only closed for a few minutes while the cars were towed from the scene, according to police.
