SALEM — Five people are seeking three-year terms on the Budget Committee.

Three seats will be up for grabs Tuesday. The candidates are incumbent Paul Huard and Paul Bryant, and newcomers Richard Baillargeon, Dane Hoover and Paul Welch.

William Carter filed to run, but dropped out of the race last month because he was moving to New Jersey. His name remains on the ballot.

Committee Chairman Russell Frydryck is running unopposed for a one-year seat.

Baillargeon, Hoover and Welch could not be reached for interviews.
