Zoners allow Walgreens to exceed sign limit

HAMPSTEAD - The request was excessive. Members of the Zoning Board of Adjustment all agreed it was excessive. But, in the end, the board allowed Walgreens to have signage that is more than twice the amount allowed by the town's ordinance.

Board members considered Walgreens' request for 495 square feet of signage between the building and the free-standing sign Thursday evening. That's three times the allowable square footage of signage allowed in Hampstead C2 Commercial Zones.Read this article in full with a
