Skunks and strays populate animal officer's days

For more than three decades, Marlene Bishop has helped rescue abused and stray animals in Londonderry, Windham and Derry. Now she's Derry's animal control officer and responds to between 10 to 20 calls every day.

Bishop, 51, grew up on a farm in Vermont, but moved to Southern New Hampshire with her family as a teenager. She shares her home with 51 birds, two cats, two dogs, a miniature horse and her significant other. Read this article in full with a
