Methuen, MA — Mr. Roland J. Daignault of Methuen died on Sunday at Holy Family Hospital. Born in Lawrence, he had been an area resident all of his life.The son of the late Emile and Leda (Lamontagne) Daignault, he was educated in Lawrence schools and graduated from Boston Conservatory of Music. Mr. Daignault served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. While in the service, he won a worldwide military personnel music competition. He worked as a music teacher and as a professional musician. He enjoyed spending time with his family, and tuna fishing with his buddies on his boat “Musicman.”

Mr. Daignault is survived by his wife of 49 years, Annette (Derrico) Daignault of Methuen; one daughter, Monique Daignault and her fiance, David Fay of Methuen; one son, Richard Daignault of Methuen; one brother, Donald Daignault of Italy; and several nieces and nephews.

ARRANGEMENTS: Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, from 9:30 to 11 a.m., at the Plonowski Funeral Home, 180 Jackson Street. Services will be at 11 a.m., at the funeral home, with burial to follow in Elmwood Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Edgar J.
