Bedford, N.H. — Rena M. (Halde) Robinson, 77, formerly of 161 Berkeley Street, Lawrence, died late Monday night at Bedford Hills Care and Rehab Center following a long struggle with heart and kidney failure.
She was born in Salem, MA and lived in Lawrence for over 60 years. Mrs. Robinson was employed as a group leader in the cable dept. at Raytheon Co. in Andover for 16 years before her retirement 15 years ago. She attended St. Mary Church.
She was the widow of John A. Robinson, was also pre-deceased by a daughter, Joan A. (Robinson) Gilhooly of Lawrence; and sisters, Lorraine (Daley) Turcotte, Margaret (Daley) Cool of Salem, N.H. and Pauline Halde formerly of Lawrence.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, John A. Robinson Jr. and Theresa A. (Palermo) Robinson of Nashua, N.H.; and her brother and his wife Aime E. Halde and Patricia (Adam) Halde of Lawrence; six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: Friends may call on Thursday, November 15 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Charles F. Dewhirst Funeral Home, 80 Broadway St. Methuen. A funeral service will be held Friday, November 16 at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery in Lawrence, following the service.
